Maccheroni, also known by its dialect name of Minchiareddhi, is one of the most representative pasta shapes of the Salento gastronomic tradition. Born out of peasant simplicity and becoming over time an icon of local cuisine, these small striped cylinders are a concentrate of authenticity and taste.
Made from 100% durum wheat semolina, Maccheroni are distinguished by their full-bodied texture and ability to perfectly accommodate rich sauces, such as a good homemade tomato sauce.
